DEL-AIR Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Inc. is a growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and
Sarasota Primary Responsibilities:
This role directs and coordinates all activities of retail, commercial and retrofit installation of HVAC equipment and provides levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
Plans, develops with staff, and implements services and activities by which Company policies and goals are achieved. Reviews work performed by installation staff with customers on job site to determine satisfaction. Coordinates activities of Department such as verification of equipment and materials needs, scheduling, installation, billing, and customer satisfaction to effect operational efficiency, productivity, and economy. Analyzes Departmental performance as indicated by Operational and Financial Reports to identify areas in which performance targets are not being realized and formulate implementation strategies for improvement. Reports to Director of Operations on elements of activities being performed in Department or being experienced in association with other Departments such as sales by which targets are/ are not being realized including use of resources, procedures, accuracy of pricing and billing. Resolves customer complaints regarding equipment, supplies and services. Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace. Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC trade Prior experience in a management role, preferred. Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel & Outlook specifically Outstanding communication and customer service skills Eligible to legally work in the United States. Always obtain a valid driver's license and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle. Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to speak Spanish, preferred but not required. Successfully complete a background check and drug screen. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Benefits offered by
