Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Representative to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and will play a key role in showcasing our properties, maintaining property presentation standards, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and customer service skills will help foster positive relationships, drive occupancy rates, and support the overall success of our property portfolio. The Leasing Representative will also be responsible for ensuring available units and common areas are clean, presentable, and ready to be shown to prospective tenants. Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly, answer inquiries via phone and in person as needed, and provide comprehensive property tours to highlight features and amenities. Ensure available units are clean, presentable, and ready to be shown to prospective tenants. Perform routine visual inspections of available units prior to showings to ensure the property meets established cleanliness and presentation standards. Ensure surfaces, countertops, fixtures, and other areas are properly wiped down and free of dust, dirt, and debris. Ensure flooring is clean and presentable, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, or other appropriate cleaning as needed. Identify and address cleanliness or presentation issues that could impact the readiness of a unit and coordinate with maintenance or other team members when additional services are required. Ensure trash, unwanted items, debris, and other materials that need to be discarded are properly removed and disposed of in accordance with property procedures and applicable requirements. Maintain a clean and welcoming appearance of leasing areas, model units, vacant units, and other areas used for property tours. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property readiness and address tenant requests promptly. Follow established property procedures for preparing vacant units for showings and move-ins. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leasing activities, property readiness, and tenant communications. Follow all applicable Fair Housing regulations, company policies, and property management procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and related legal frameworks. Proficiency in property management systems; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; adept at conflict management and negotiation. Demonstrated ability to handle data entry, filing, contract preparation, and office administrative tasks efficiently. Customer service-oriented mindset. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness, presentation, and readiness standards. Ability to identify issues that may affect the appearance or readiness of a property and take appropriate action. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
