In this role, you will support the daily operations of property management, ensuring smooth communication between tenants, landlords, vendors, and internal teams. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain property standards, enhance tenant satisfaction, and streamline administrative processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the property management industry while contributing to a vibrant community environment. Duties Assist in managing lease or rental agreements, including renewals, terminations, and documentation updates using property management tools such as TenantCloud. Coordinate property maintenance requests by liaising with vendors and facilities management teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep. Support tenant screening processes, including background checks and verifying compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements. Maintain accurate records of rent payments, client communication, contracts, and legal documents through data entry and filing systems. Handle customer service inquiries via phone and email, providing professional assistance and resolving conflicts efficiently while adhering to office etiquette standards. Contribute to budgeting activities by tracking expenses related to property operations and preparing reports for management review. Assist with property leasing activities by upselling available units, managing client relationships, and negotiating lease terms to maximize occupancy rates. Requirements Billingual (English & Spanish) Able to respond to Tenants on after hours & weekends. Proven experience with property management software such as TenantCloud, or similar tools. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law Previous experience in real estate administration or property management company environments is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts professionally while maintaining positive client relationships. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices. Effective negotiation skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced office setting with strong administrative experience.
