Job Description

Job Shop is recruiting for an established residential property management company is seeking a Property Management Field Manager to join its team.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Inspections & Tenant Relations Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and document property conditions with photos and written reports. Meet with new tenants to review property procedures, maintenance reporting processes, and community guidelines. Identify damage, cleaning, repairs, and other items needed to return a property to rent-ready condition. Conduct periodic property inspections and follow up on maintenance or property concerns. Communicate professionally with tenants and property owners regarding property conditions and maintenance needs. Maintenance Coordination Receive, review, and coordinate tenant maintenance requests. Assign work orders to appropriate vendors and prioritize emergency maintenance issues. Monitor open work orders and follow up with vendors to ensure work is completed properly and on schedule. Review completed work and maintain accurate documentation, photos, and records in the property management system. Coordinate communication between tenants, property owners, vendors, and the property management team. Review maintenance-related invoices and submit appropriate documentation for processing. Property & Operational Support Assist with property preparation and set-outs when needed. Identify repair and maintenance needs during inspections and ensure work meets company standards. Assist the Property Manager and other members of the property management team with daily operational needs. Help monitor property-related expenses and identify opportunities for efficient maintenance and operations. Follow applicable fair housing requirements, company policies, safety guidelines, and professional standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical training, or related education is a plus. Previous management, property management, maintenance, construction, or residential property experience preferred. Knowledge of general home maintenance, repairs, and construction is helpful. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and customer-service-oriented approach when working with tenants, owners, and vendors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn and effectively use property management software and other technology. Physical & Job Requirements Must be comfortable working in and around residential properties. Ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform physical tasks associated with property inspections. Ability to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds or more. Frequent local driving throughout the CSRA is required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history required. Participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule for emergency maintenance issues is required. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Schedule & Work Environment This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel between residential properties throughout the CSRA. The position involves a combination of property inspections, tenant/vendor communication, maintenance coordination, and administrative responsibilities.

$55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
