This leader will foster a supportive environment for residents, families, and associates while ensuring smooth, compliant, and financially responsible operations. The ideal candidate excels at relationship building, staff development, and fostering a warm, service-focused culture. Position Overview The Executive Director oversees all aspects of community performance, including operational leadership, regulatory compliance, team development, financial stewardship, and community engagement. This role requires a hands-on leader who is confident in decision-making and committed to delivering exceptional service. Key Focus Areas Leadership & Culture Model professionalism, compassion, and accountability in daily interactions Cultivate a positive, team-oriented community atmosphere Build meaningful rapport with residents, families, associates, and partners Operational Management Direct daily operations to ensure quality services, safe practices, and regulatory alignment Maintain standards for building operations, life safety, and environmental quality Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly Financial & Business Oversight Monitor financial performance and ensure responsible management of revenue and expenses Support census growth through strong customer experience and community engagement Use data and reporting to guide operational planning and decision‑making Team Development & Staffing Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing staff Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to department leaders Promote a learning environment with consistent support for professional growth Community & External Relations Represent the community professionally with families, health care partners, and local organizations Maintain positive working relationships with regulatory agencies Respond effectively to surveys, inspections, and any identified deficiencies Resident & Family Experience Champion a resident-centered approach in all programs and services Ensure residents feel heard, respected, and supported Monitor satisfaction levels and take action on areas needing improvement Qualifications Current state‑required Administrator License Bachelor's degree or at least five years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, social services, or a related field Demonstrated success managing teams and leading in a service-driven environment Valid driver's license and insurability Additional Expectations Ability to respond to community needs outside standard business hours when necessary Willingness to assist during emergencies, including weather events or critical operational situations Flexibility to support different departments if operational needs arise
