Target salary around $90,000, depending on experience About Curiosity Lab Curiosity Lab is a living laboratory for place-based deployment – where connected mobility, infrastructure, logistics, and other emerging technologies are built, tested, and brought to life in an active city. Located just outside of Atlanta in Peachtree Corners, we work with startups, corporate partners, and global organizations to move technology from concept into real-world deployment. Role Overview This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational and community experience at Curiosity Lab's Innovation Center. Reporting to the Executive Director, this person serves as the on-site community and operations manager for our 50,000 sq ft facility – ensuring the building runs smoothly, tenants and partners have a high-quality experience, and everything from tours to events to daily operations is executed at a high standard. This is a highly visible, hands-on role. You'll be the person tenants, partners, and visitors interact with regularly – and the one making sure the Lab feels polished, organized, and well-run every day. What You'll Do Operations & Facility
  • Ensure the Lab operates as a clean, organized, and professional environment at all times
  • Oversee day-to-day facility needs, vendor coordination, and space readiness
  • Maintain clear systems and processes for how the building functions
  • Work closely with the Facilities & Operations Coordinator to ensure consistent execution of daily operations, event setup, and building readiness Tenant & Community Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and partners
  • Help attract and onboard new tenants by communicating Curiosity Lab's value and ensuring strong alignment
  • Review tenant inquiries and assess fit within Curiosity Lab's ecosystem and priorities
  • Manage onboarding, ongoing experience, and offboarding of tenants
  • Build a connected, engaged community within the Lab through intentional touchpoints and programming Events
  • Help attract external events by communicating Curiosity Lab's event capabilities and value
  • Review event requests to ensure alignment with Curiosity Lab's brand and priorities
  • Oversee execution of events and ensure a high-quality, professional experience
  • Support the development of programming that strengthens the ecosystem and community Tours & Visits
  • Coordinate and lead tours for partners, delegations, and prospective tenants
  • Review tour requests and determine strategic value, staffing needs, and scheduling
  • Prepare and brief internal team members participating in tours to ensure a polished and aligned experience
  • Ensure each visit reflects Curiosity Lab's brand and communicates its value clearly Systems & Execution
  • Take ownership of operational projects and deliver polished, complete outputs (not just ideas)
  • Organize and maintain data, documents, and systems (CRM, tenant records, contracts, etc.)
  • Identify gaps and proactively improve how things are done What We're Looking For
  • 7-10 years of experience in operations, community management, events, or program management
  • Strong attention to detail – you notice things others don't (cleanliness, layout, experience gaps)
  • High ownership and follow-through – you take direction and turn it into a finished product
  • Comfortable working in-person and being the "face" of a space
  • Positive, energetic presence – you help create a welcoming and engaging environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with startups, innovation environments, or entrepreneurial communities is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Atlanta startup/investment ecosystem is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred What Success Looks Like
