Responsibilities Engage with prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person to promote available units and answer inquiries promptly and professionally Conduct property tours, highlighting features and benefits to upsell units effectively while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations Prepare and review lease agreements, contracts, and related legal documents ensuring accuracy and adherence to landlord-tenant law Manage leasing databases using Yardi or OneSite property management software for data entry, filing, and record keeping Coordinate with maintenance teams to facilitate property readiness and address tenant requests efficiently Stay informed about Section 8, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other affordable housing programs to assist qualifying tenants Handle conflict management situations with professionalism, ensuring positive resolutions while maintaining excellent customer service standards Skills Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other property management tools Excellent customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette and ability to build lasting tenant relationships Effective negotiation skills for lease terms and upselling opportunities Legal administrative experience including contracts, filing systems, and legal documentation review Office experience with data entry, filing, conflict management, and facilities management tasks Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills Join us as a Leasing Specialist and become a key player in creating welcoming communities through proactive leasing strategies combined with exceptional customer care.
