Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, programs, partnerships, and member experience of a brand-new community facility from the ground up. The Branch Executive provides strategic leadership for all branch operations, including membership growth, staff leadership, financial management, facility operations, community engagement, fundraising, and program development. This individual will serve as the face of the YMCA in LeClaire, building strong relationships that strengthen our mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. What We're Looking For Be a collaborative and approachable leader who inspires staff, volunteers, and members. Demonstrate strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, operations, and organizational growth. Have a proven ability to build partnerships with local businesses, schools, community organizations, and civic leaders. Be comfortable making strategic decisions while remaining hands-on in daily operations. Embrace innovation and seek opportunities to expand programs, membership, and community impact. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and represent the YMCA with professionalism and enthusiasm. Lead with accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to the YMCA's mission and core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, recreation, human services, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Five or more years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit, recreation, hospitality, or community-based organizations. Demonstrated success in staff leadership, budget management, and operational oversight. Experience building community partnerships and leading volunteer engagement. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Passion for the YMCA mission and a commitment to serving diverse populations.
