Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated House Manager/Community Outreach Manager to lead the management of our community residence and foster meaningful engagement within our neighborhood. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, coordinate community events, and build strong relationships with residents, partners, and local organizations. The ideal candidate will bring energy, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality and community development to create a welcoming environment that promotes connection and support. Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional guest services Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, including social gatherings, fundraising activities, and outreach programs Oversee event marketing efforts to promote community activities and increase participation through targeted marketing strategies Negotiate contracts with vendors, caterers, and service providers to ensure quality offerings at favorable terms Develop and implement upselling strategies for event spaces or services to enhance revenue opportunities Maintain budgets for events and operational expenses, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability Foster strong relationships with residents, local organizations, sponsors, and partners to promote community engagement and support initiatives Ensure excellent customer service by addressing resident needs promptly and professionally Coordinate catering services, banquet arrangements, and hospitality logistics for events or resident needs Manage organizational tasks related to event planning, including scheduling, logistics coordination, and resource allocation Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management, event planning or community outreach roles within hotel, restaurant or banquet settings Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and partnerships Excellent marketing abilities with experience in event marketing and promotion strategies Demonstrated upselling skills to maximize revenue from events or services offered Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with residents, vendors, and team members Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Experience in budgeting, financial management, and contract negotiations Knowledge of catering operations, banquet service standards, and guest hospitality best practices Prior experience in fundraising or community development initiatives is a plus Ability to handle guest services professionally with a friendly demeanor while managing event logistics efficiently Join us in creating an inviting community space where residents feel valued and engaged! Pay:
$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
