A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Assist customers and clients with their rental properties and homeowner's associations, schedule and conduct property showings, answer application, leasing and property questions, troubleshoot maintenance issues, inspect properties, and coordinate maintenance facilitation. Responsibilities Answering phone calls and responding to emails with quality customer service and professionalism Scheduling and performing property showings to prospective residents Preparing and reviewing lease agreements Marketing available properties Processing rental applications Troubleshooting maintenance issues Assigning out unresolved service issue Coordination with vendors to ensure timely resolutions Interacting with owners and residents Maintaining and updating our workflow standard process Ensuring compliance for homeowner's associations Working with accounts receivable and payable Working with financial reporting Inspection of properties for damage Skills & Traits Communicate and interact well with the public Knowledgeable in computer and tablet usage Maintain composure in stressful situations Positive, upbeat, and personable Professional confidence Adaptable Organized and capable of following through with projects Active Driver's License (company car is typically available to use, but you may need to use your own vehicle at times with mileage reimbursement) Cell phone for timeclock, call, and texting usage Wages Team members with limited experience can make $13-15 per hour plus benefits. Those with more extensive experience can make even more. This position could evolve into a supervisor or manager position.
