Property Information The Reserve at Saluki Pointe 768 Bed Off-Campus Housing Complex for SIU Students Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support the overall operations of our residential property community. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional resident experiences, maintaining property standards, and assisting with administrative and leasing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, familiarity with property management tools, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Assist in managing daily community operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards Use property management software to update resident records, track rent payments, and generate reports Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Collaborate with team members on conflict management and dispute resolution to maintain a positive community atmosphere Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and assisting in financial record keeping for the property Coordinate property maintenance requests, inspections, and vendor communications to ensure facilities are well-maintained Qualifications Proven experience with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations and compliance Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies preferred Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship management Familiarity with lease or rental agreement management, contracts, and negotiation techniques Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, filing, and reporting tasks Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and filing processes Office experience supporting team management or customer relations is desirable Join our team to play a key role in fostering welcoming communities while developing your career in property management!
