Summary The Reserve at Saluki Pointe is hiring for our Community Manager position. This is an off-campus student housing complex with 768 beds for SIU. The Community Manager is responsible for the daily operational execution of the apartment community in alignment with company directives. This role ensures the property meets occupancy, revenue, and service standards as established by corporate leadership. The Community Manager executes property strategy in partnership with corporate leadership. Strategic direction for major operational, financial, marketing, and policy initiatives is established at the corporate level, with implementation coordinated at the property level to ensure consistency and alignment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing Leadership Execute leasing and marketing strategies as directed by corporate leadership Implement pricing, concessions, and promotional campaigns only as approved Oversee property-level marketing efforts, including social media and resident events, ensuring they align with company standards and approved strategy Ensure the lead-to-lease process is executed according to company policy and reporting requirements Monitor leasing performance and provide regular updates to corporate; strategic changes require review and approval prior to implementation Maintain consistency with established leasing procedures, branding standards, and marketing direction, partnering with corporate leadership before implementing any changes. Financial & Administrative Oversight Achieve budgeted income and expense goals for the community Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting Review leasing, occupancy, and financial reports regularly to identify trends and areas for improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, lease guidelines, and regulatory requirements Approve contracts, invoices, and expenditures within designated authority limits Operations & Resident Experience Oversee all aspects of property operations, including move-ins, move-outs, and service coordination Ensure resident concerns are resolved professionally and efficiently Maintain strong collaboration between office and maintenance teams Uphold high standards for office presentation, curb appeal, and overall property appearance Team Leadership & Accountability Hire, train, develop, and evaluate on-site staff Clearly define roles, delegate responsibilities, and empower team members to execute within their authority Conduct regular team meetings to maintain alignment on goals and expectations Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and performance Address performance concerns promptly and implement corrective action when necessary
