Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Youth Director to lead our youth programs and foster a vibrant, supportive environment for young people. In this role, you will develop engaging activities, provide mentorship, and coordinate initiatives that promote spiritual growth, leadership, and community involvement. Your energetic leadership will inspire youth to explore their faith, build meaningful relationships, and develop essential life skills Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive youth programs that include spiritual teachings, social activities, and community service projects. Lead weekly youth group meetings, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. Provide mentorship and Christian counseling to support youth through personal challenges and life transitions. Organize special events such as retreats, outreach activities, and fundraising campaigns to enhance engagement and community involvement. Collaborate with parents, church staff, and community partners to coordinate programs that meet the diverse needs of youth. Offer guidance on social work topics relevant to youth development, including mental health awareness and bereavement support. includes a consistent presence in the schools and serving as chaplain for a team each season. Skills Strong leadership abilities with experience in teaching or mentoring young people . Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, teens, parents, and community members. Experience in event planning, organizing retreats, camps, or outreach activities. Ability to provide Christian counseling with sensitivity and compassion during difficult times such as grief or loss. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
