Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Responsible for managing the daily operations of a senior apartment building serving older adults and/or disable persons, who meet the residency requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development.

Essential Functions:
Maintain maximum occupancy. Provide for the maintenance of the physical facility and grounds to ensure safety, security and sanitation. Responsible for rent collection, certification and following policies and procedures established by HUD and LSSI. Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and submission of necessary reports. Work with residents, families and the community. Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with three (3) to five (5) years of management/supervisory experience required Or, an associate's degree with one (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience required. Background check clearance required. Leasing License or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire required. Certified Occupancy Specialist Designation (COS) or willingness to obtain within two (2) years of hire required. Minimum number of years management/supervisory experience is dependent on education level. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow instructions, perform assigned tasks while maintaining appropriate work pace. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software. Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required. Access to reliable transportation required. Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
