This role includes responding to maintenance calls, following up on overdue rent, showing vacant properties to prospective tenants, and handling turnovers between tenants. Responsibilities Respond to day-to-day maintenance calls and complete repairs promptly. Follow up with tenants on overdue rent and collect late payments. Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective tenants. Inspect and maintain vacant properties to keep them clean, secure, and ready to rent. Handle tenant turnovers, including cleaning, painting, repairs, and preparing properties for new tenants. Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance work, rent collection, and property conditions. Communicate professionally with tenants and ownership about property needs and outstanding issues. Requirements Experience in residential maintenance, handyman work, or construction. Ability to perform common household repairs, basic plumbing repairs, painting, and general upkeep. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through. A professional and dependable approach when working with tenants and prospective renters. Previous property management or tenant coordination experience is a plus.
