Ansonia Property Management is hiring a hands-on leader for the Community Manager position at the Crossings, a 208-unit garden-style, market-rate community in St. Charles, IL. Job Highlights Oversee all aspects of daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, compliance, and resident engagement. Lead a high-performing team with clear direction, strong support, and consistent follow-through. Manage budgets, control expenses and drive rent collections to meet financial goals. Support leasing performance, retention strategies, and community programming. Ensure strong vendor relationships and timely completion of maintenance and capital projects. Maintain accurate records, reporting, and compliance with Fair Housing, safety and local regulations. Serve as the face of the community—building trust with residents and responding to issues with urgency and care.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience managing multifamily properties, ideally 150+ units. Strong leadership skills and experience supervising, developing and mentoring on-site staff. Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage operations, leasing and budgets independently. Excellent organizational and decision-making skills. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle conflict management professionally, while maintaining positive relationships with residents. Experience sourcing, selecting, evaluating and managing vendors and the bid process. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, particularly in financial reporting and management. Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, compliance, and resident relations. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, ResMan, RealPage), as well as the MS Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) . Illinois Leasing License required within 60 days of hiring. Illinois Broker's License a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Why Ansonia?
