Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

About the Role The Property Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and financial results of a designated commercial property portfolio, including retail, office, industrial, and medical office assets. The PM ensures operational excellence, delivers superior client service, and maintains strong tenant relationships while managing property teams and vendor partnerships. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations for assigned properties, ensuring compliance with ownership and company standards. Lead tenant communications, lease compliance, and retention initiatives. Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports. Review operating expenses, approve invoices, and monitor variances. Oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, coordinating with engineering and vendors. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring performance and insurance compliance. Support client reporting, presentations, and ownership meetings. Supervise and mentor property management team members, including Assistant Property Managers and Property Assistants. Maintain current knowledge of market trends, lease structures, and building systems. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all managed assets.
