Residential Program Manager Job Summary:

The Residential Program Manager oversees the daily operations of residential care facilities serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, compliance with long-term care regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. The manager provides leadership to staff, coordinates care plans, and implements educational initiatives to promote the well-being and independence of residents.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise residential care staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective service delivery. Coordinate individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with applicable long-term care regulations. Oversee daily operations within residential facilities, including safety protocols, medication management, and activity planning. Ensure compliance with all relevant disability services standards and regulations governing residential care homes. Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes resident dignity, independence, and community engagement. Conduct staff performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing education to enhance team skills and knowledge. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive care and support services. Monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of resident care and facility operations. Manage administrative tasks related to staffing schedules, documentation, and regulatory reporting.

Skills:

Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential or care setting. Strong background in disability services and familiarity with long-term care regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills in staff supervision and team development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, staff, and external partners. Ability to coordinate complex care plans while ensuring regulatory compliance. Knowledge of safety protocols within residential facilities and emergency response procedures. Pay:

$50,434.26 per year
