Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Property Manager for a historic apartment community in Downtown Evansville! Consists of 123 units across six buildings , all located within a few blocks of one another. We're looking for a confident, self-motivated Property Manager who can work independently, stay organized, and keep the property running smoothly with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation is required, as the role will involve moving between the different buildings throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment community Handle leasing, tours, applications, and resident communication Build positive relationships with residents and address concerns Follow up on collections, delinquent accounts, and resident ledgers Enter and code invoices Coordinate with onsite maintenance and outside vendors Monitor property conditions and address operational needs Maintain accurate resident and property records Complete reporting and other administrative responsibilities Utilize Yardi regularly for leasing, resident ledgers, account management, reporting, and other property functions

Qualifications:

Previous apartment/property management experience required Strong Yardi experience highly preferred Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Comfortable handling collections and delinquency follow-up Reliable transportation Professional, dependable, and willing to take ownership of the property Why This Role?
