Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our property management portfolio, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and overall property performance. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
Communicate with tenants to address inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Assist in the resolution of tenant issues and ensure a positive living experience.
Property Maintenance:
Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs with vendors and internal maintenance teams. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Leasing and Vacancy Management:
Assist in the leasing process, including showing vacant units, screening prospective tenants, and preparing lease agreements. Work closely with the property manager to minimize vacancies and maximize occupancy rates.
Financial Management:
Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting. Collect rent payments and monitor accounts receivable.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the property management team. Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, leases, and property-related documents.
Compliance:
Stay informed about local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable property management policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with property management software is a plus. Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations.
