Residential/Group Home Manager Location:
Warsaw, IN Pay:
$21.63 per hour
Hours:
Direct Support hours- Monday 4 pm-12 am, Tuesday and Thursday 4 pm-9 pm, Sunday 8 am-2 pm with 4 flex hours. Office hours- Wednesday 8 am-4 pm with 4 flex hours.
Job Summary:
Role:
Oversee the daily operations of a residential group home, including supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Objective:
Provide support and supervision to ensure high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Essential Functions:
Supervision:
Manage DSPs, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
Accounting:
Ensure accurate management of individuals' funds.
Program Implementation:
Oversee and document each individual's program plan.
Health & Safety:
Monitor health and safety, ensure medical appointments are completed, and medications are administered properly.
Relationships:
Maintain positive relationships with families, guardians, and support staff.
Compliance:
Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as Cardinal Services' policies and procedures.
Environment:
Create a supportive, fun environment for both individuals served and employees.
Impact:
Show a desire to positively impact the lives of others.
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Previous management experience and experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license. Current auto insurance. Ability to transport individuals safely. High school diploma or GED. Ability to work in a human services setting with a favorable background check.
