Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. In this vital role, you will support the overall operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring exceptional tenant relations, efficient administrative processes, and compliance with relevant regulations. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help foster a positive living or working environment while maintaining the property's financial and operational health. Duties Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including renewals, move-ins, and move-outs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors and tenants to resolve issues promptly. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to update records, track rent payments, and generate reports. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts efficiently. Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 housing programs. Contribute to budgeting efforts by assisting with expense tracking and financial reporting. Support lease or rental agreement management through data entry, filing, and document organization. Participate in conflict management efforts by mediating tenant concerns and fostering positive relationships. Assist in property leasing activities including upselling units and conducting tours for prospective tenants. Collaborate with team members on property management initiatives, including facilities management and property maintenance oversight. Requirements Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Demonstrated conflict management skills with a focus on client relationship building. Experience with property maintenance coordination and facilities management is a plus. Strong organizational skills for data entry, filing systems, and administrative tasks. Team management experience is advantageous but not required; a collaborative attitude is essential. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
