Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, managing tenant relations, and maximizing property performance. This role requires a strong understanding of property management principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both tenants and property owners. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and upsell available units. Handle tenant inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, demonstrating strong phone etiquette. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and maintain accurate records of tenant interactions. Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee vendor relationships for repairs and services. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for efficient record-keeping and reporting. Negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants while ensuring favorable terms for the property owner. Foster positive relationships with tenants to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Skills Proven experience in property management or a related field. Strong knowledge of facilities management practices and property maintenance procedures. Excellent customer relationship management skills with an emphasis on tenant satisfaction. Ability to effectively upsell available properties or services to prospective tenants. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements. Proficient in negotiation techniques to secure favorable lease agreements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Experience using property management software such as Appfolio is preferred.
