Job Description
House Manager will live ON-SITE. This is for MEN and WOMEN's housing (housed separately) 10 hrs of House Management included with Room & Board + 30 hrs of Peer Support ($18.00/hr).

This pivotal role is dedicated to providing unwavering support and guidance to individuals on their recovery journey. The House Manager ensures the seamless operation of our recovery residence, maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for all residents.Leadership and Support:

Resident Support:
Peer Support Provide Ongoing Support:
Deliver compassionate and consistent support to residents throughout their recovery journey, fostering a sense of community and belonging.Regular Check-ins:
Conduct frequent one-on-one check-ins with residents to monitor their progress, celebrate achievements, and address any concerns or challenges they may be facing.Facilitate Activities:
Lead and organize group discussions, house meetings, and activities designed to promote personal growth, resilience, and long-term recovery. Maintain resident records for meetings, one on one peer support, and incidents.House Operations:
Daily Operations Oversight:
Ensure the smooth functioning of the recovery residence, including managing maintenance tasks, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining a safe environment for all residents. Live in House Managers will demonstrate organizational skills in house hours, lights out, and daily living.Coordination:
Work closely with clinical staff to guarantee support for residents, ensuring a seamless and supportive environment from residence to recovery programming.Record Maintenance:
Keep detailed and accurate records of resident occupancy, daily activities, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Care Support:
Collaborative Care Planning:
Partner with counselors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs.Resource Assistance:
Support residents in accessing essential community resources, such as support groups, employment opportunities, healthcare services, and educational programs.Compliance Monitoring:
Oversee residents' adherence to house rules and program guidelines, providing guidance and support to help them stay on track with their recovery goals.Crisis Intervention:
Emergency Response:
Act swiftly and effectively in crisis situations, including instances of relapse or conflicts among residents, to ensure safety and stability.Intervention Strategies:
Implement appropriate intervention strategies to de-escalate crises and provide immediate support to residents and staff.Incident Reporting:
Follow established protocols for documenting incidents and seeking additional assistance when necessary, ensuring transparency and accountability.Leadership:
Leadership and Supervision:
Provide strong leadership as a peer leader, fostering a positive and collaborative House culture.Team Culture:
Promote a culture of empathy, accountability, and professionalism among staff, ensuring a supportive and effective working environment.Qualifications Educational Background:
Adult Peer Support Specialist AND Temporary Registered Alcohol and Drug Peer Support Specialist certification, and GED, Some College, or College Degree, experience inAddiction Recovery Field Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a residential treatment or recovery setting, or a similar environment, with a strong understanding of substance use disorder (SUD) recovery principles and practices.Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with residents and staff effectively.Confidentiality:
A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Certifications:
APSS certification, CPR/First Aid certification is required (or willingness to obtain).Driving Requirements:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.Professional Development:
