Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This role involves managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the overall functionality and safety of the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to facilities management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead facility operations, implement maintenance procedures, and enhance tenant or occupant satisfaction through effective management and strategic planning. Duties Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely Conduct all business in accordance with Lafayette Council on Aging policies and procedures, Fair Housing, American with Disabilities Act and all other federal and state laws Responsible for maintaining a leasing rate of 98% or greater Completing lease paperwork; processing changes, verifying income/expenses/deductions, and notifying residents of changes in rent or unit eligibility The property manager will perform all accounting duties; account payables, account receivables, financial reports, and ensure that all rents are collected, posted, and deposited on a daily basis Conducting move-in/move-out/annual inspections; physically walk and inspect community on regular basis, check on vacant apartments Resolve resident conflict in an effective, professional, and timely manner Assisting with emergency calls on the property after hours as needed Skills Proven management experience in facilities or maintenance management roles with supervisory responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Effective communication skills for clear reporting and team coordination Join us as a Property Manager where your expertise will ensure our facilities operate smoothly while fostering a safe environment for all occupants.
