Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Manager to oversee operations within our residential care facility for special needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our currently 5 residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of resident rights, and experience in memory care and home community care. As a Group Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, managing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. La Estima is a group home for the intellectually disabled with currently 5 residents, we are looking for a home manager with past experience working with the intellectually disabled and has a passion for it. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance. Manage budgeting and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans as necessary. Facilitate staff training sessions on best practices in social work and memory care. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff within the group home setting. Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to enhance resident well-being. Oversee staff, scheduling, and call outs Ensure compliance with standards for annual survey All other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within home care or group home settings. Strong knowledge of resident rights, social work principles, and memory care practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to care services. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with residents, families, and staff. Certification or training in medication administration is preferred but not required. A commitment to providing high-quality care that respects the dignity of all residents.
