This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with people, organizing schedules, monitoring cleaning quality, and stepping in to clean when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help organize and coordinate the cleaning team. Assist with creating and managing cleaners' schedules. Assign cleaners to cleaning jobs. Monitor cleaners' availability and help resolve scheduling conflicts. Track and review cleaners' hours and clock-in/clock-out times. Follow up when hours or time entries need clarification. Supervise cleaning teams and make sure jobs are completed according to company standards. Visit cleaning jobs to inspect the quality of the work when needed. Take before-and-after photos and videos when required. Make sure cleaners arrive on time and have the proper supplies and equipment. Make sure cleaners follow cleaning checklists and company procedures. Communicate job instructions and special requests to the cleaning team. Communicate with clients when necessary regarding cleaning services. Report problems, damages, missing items, or client concerns to management. Help train and guide new cleaners. Monitor cleaning supplies and report when products need to be replaced or restocked. Assist with organizing supplies and equipment. Step in and perform cleaning services when necessary, especially when a cleaner is unavailable or additional help is needed. Assist with deep cleanings, move-in/move-out cleanings, regular cleanings, and other services. Help ensure that cleaning appointments are properly staffed. Handle last-minute scheduling changes and find solutions when possible. Assist management with other daily operational tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous cleaning experience required. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable and responsible. Comfortable communicating with a team of cleaners. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Strong attention to detail. Ability to inspect cleaning work and identify areas that need improvement. Comfortable using a smartphone and scheduling/time-tracking applications. Reliable transportation. Willingness to travel to different cleaning locations. Must be physically able to perform cleaning duties when necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Must be flexible and available to assist with scheduling or cleaning needs when necessary.
