Property Manager (Full-Time)

St. Gabriel, LA 120-Unit, LIHTC Property We're more than just housing providers; we're stewards of safe, affordable communities where residents can thrive. We're seeking a dedicated Property Manager who is organized, responsive, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly, persons with disabilities, and low-income individuals and families. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial properties, acting as the go-to person for tenants, vendors, and your on-site team. Your leadership will ensure that each property runs smoothly, remains compliant, and fosters a respectful, welcoming environment for all.

What You'll Do:

Manage daily operations of assigned properties with professionalism and care Serve as the first point of contact for tenant questions, concerns, and service requests Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital improvements Market and lease available units, screen applicants, and prepare lease agreements Collect rent and manage financial transactions in accordance with policies Address lease violations, resolve conflicts, and enforce community standards Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, expenses, inspections, and work orders

What You Bring:

Strong knowledge of property management principles and best practices Experience with property management systems (Yardi or similar preferred) Exceptional customer service and communication skills Proficiency in vendor coordination and contract management Familiarity with fair housing regulations and lease enforcement Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy Bonus points for: experience with CMMS platforms, upselling amenities, or affordable housing compliance Why Join our Company?
