Assistant Property Manager - Pilots Pointe Apartments | $58,000-$60,000 A resident has a question about their account. A lease renewal is coming up. A prospective resident is deciding between your community and another one. The leasing team needs support. The Property Manager is balancing priorities. A small issue has the potential to become a much larger one if no one steps in. That's where this role comes in. We're hiring an Assistant Property Manager at Pilots Pointe Apartments — someone who understands that successful communities aren't built by one person. They're built by strong teams, consistent execution, and leaders who know how to balance people, operations, and performance. What This Role Really Is This isn't simply an administrative role. And it isn't solely a leasing position. This role sits at the intersection of: Property Operations Resident Experience Financial Performance Team Support Leasing & Retention You'll work closely with the Property Manager to help ensure the community operates efficiently, residents feel supported, and property goals are achieved. Some days you'll be reviewing resident accounts and assisting with collections. Other days you'll be supporting leasing efforts, solving resident concerns, or helping keep the operation moving forward. No two days look exactly the same. Who This Role Is For This role is for someone who: Enjoys both the operational and customer-facing side of property management Can balance multiple priorities without losing attention to detail Takes ownership of problems and works toward solutions Understands that resident experience and financial performance go hand-in-hand Communicates professionally and confidently Wants to continue growing their property management career Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly Who This Role Is NOT For This role is probably not a fit if: You prefer highly repetitive work with little variety You avoid difficult conversations with residents You struggle to manage multiple responsibilities at once You only enjoy leasing or only enjoy administrative work You need constant direction to stay productive We're looking for someone who can confidently move between operations, resident relations, leasing support, and financial responsibilities. What You'll Be Responsible For Supporting the daily operations of the community Scheduling work orders and quarterly community inspections Assisting with resident relations and customer service concerns Reviewing resident accounts and supporting collections efforts Processing applications, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs, P.O.'s, invoices and student acocunts Maintaining accurate resident files and property records Supporting occupancy and retention goals Assisting with leasing activities and prospect follow-up as needed Preparing reports and supporting property financial performance Partnering with the Property Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Helping create a positive experience for residents and prospects alike What We're Looking For Previous property management experience preferred Assistant Property Manager experience strongly preferred Experience with Entrata or similar property management software is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Financial, leasing, and resident relations experience preferred Why Pilots Pointe Apartments Every resident interaction matters.
