Job Description

Interim Assistant Dean of Students for
Residential Life Salary Range:
$120,000-$120,000 annually Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Dean of Students for Residential Life to support and provide oversight to adults who work in the residential program, including House Counselors, Complements, and Cluster Deans. In addition, the Assistant Dean of Students for Residential Life will oversee and administer the student conduct system, which includes meetings of the community standards committee. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with a team towards a shared vision with creativity and resilience. Attention to detail, follow through and reliability are essential in this role. The Assistant Dean for Student Life is part of the Office of the Dean of Students and reports to the Dean of Students. This is a 1.0 FTE, 12-month, housed position, and includes teaching of one course in an academic department and other responsibilities as needed. This role will begin July 1, 2026, and is a one-year, interim role which can be renewed. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
