Summary of the position: You will be responsible for implementing Beta Community Partnerships Inc. Mission Statement by assisting the Program Directors with the supervision of staff and oversight of supports to assigned individuals in their homes. Expectations of the
Position General:
to follow most aspects of the Program Director position Specifics, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO
  • Provide supervision to Advocates and Direct Care Staff who work with Adults with Developmental Disabilities
  • Ensure MAP and DDS Regulatory Compliance at all times
  • Serve as a connector among individuals, Staff, guardians and DDS
  • Facilitate excellent service delivery to individuals regarding medication, adaptive equipment, and ISP goal attainment
  • Ability to work as a team member with other House Managers and Program Directors; ability to self-motivate and get the job done
  • Excellent communication, telephone and computer skills required (outlook, excel, internet, e-mail)
  • On-call coverage during shift required; mandatory meetings
  • Flexibility to work late afternoon/evening hours. Reliable, insured transportation
  • Preferred basic knowledge of PBS, the ISP process
  • Preferred 2 plus years of human services experience with adults with disabilities
  • Preferred 6 months of management/supervisory experience in the human services field
  • Some SRV training will need to be completed within a reasonable time frame of hire
  • Training will be offered to you
  • Must be reliable, dependable, trustworthy and a self-starter/worker. Must be excellent with documentation and flexible
  • Must be detail oriented, a team player and communicate well with supervisors
  • Fingerprinting and a Criminal Offender Record Information check (CORI) will be completed for all new hires
  • CPR and First Aid are required before working a shift on site
  • Massachusetts Medication Certification (MAP) is required at time of application.
  • Must have Human Rights, DPPC, Fire Safety, Executive Order 509 Nutrition, Vital Signs and Signs and Symptoms and other training not specified within a reasonable time period. Training will be provided
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent (associates/bachelor's degree preferred but may be substituted for experience) a driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience (use of your own personal vehicle may be required as needed). Valid car insurance will need to be provided and kept current while employed
