Job Description
The Resident Services and Engagement Coordinator (RSC) leads the implementation and coordination of programs and services for 320 plus residents at a 201-unit multi-family affordable housing community in Fall River, MA. Ships' Cove Apartments is located near Mount Hope Bay, with views of the Taunton River and the Charles Braga Jr. Bridge. The RSC partners with tenants to operate a community room with a private office, full kitchen, and general seating area for community gatherings. The site also has ample outdoor areas to host larger activities and resident gatherings. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week with benefits and bonus potential. The RSC will work with residents while supporting property management. The RSC partners with residents to gather community input/feedback, conducts annual property needs assessments, investigates local community resources, and coordinates the delivery of programs and services for children, youth, adults, and seniors. The RSC's work will be directed through a consulting relationship with Operation Pathways but will be employed by Winn Companies and will work in collaboration with property management and residents. The RSC maintains and establishes partnerships with organizations to deliver on-site or door-to-door programming and like opportunities at the property or refers residents to services in the local community. The RSC is responsible for developing program goals at the site level and ensuring that reports and budgets (when appropriate) are completed and accurate. The RSC may be asked to assist with submissions of funding applications and monitor adherence to contractual agreements. The RSC will work in partnership with the site property management team to assist with housing stability and to provide social services referrals to residents to meet their needs or desires. The RSC is responsible for managing programmatic outcomes as directed by their regional manager. A large part of the role is community outreach and will require the RSC to conduct weekly wellness checks, consistent door-to-door outreach, taking the lead in supporting services and events offered to the communities.
