Job Description The House Manager & Program Leader plays a central role in community life by living in one of our three shared homes, serving as that home's leader and collaborating as a community with the other two homes. This position blends caregiving, household management, program compliance, and community leadership. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive home environment, guiding staff and volunteers, and ensuring the well-being of residents. They are responsible for planning and running a number of Day Program groups during the week. It is the responsibility of the live-in House Manager to ensure that care and staff coverage are being well provided at all times. This happens through Direct Support Providers under the House Manager's supervision. This is a shared responsibility among all of the community leaders. Flexibility is an important part of the role, but support is available from the leadership team and the wider community. This position can be filled by an individual or by two people who wish to live together in the designated on-site apartment and share the responsibility of leading the household.

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive household community life Leading household routines including organization of and/or preparation of shared meals, household chores, and weekly meetings Providing direct support in daily living, health, and community activities for residents with disabilities Overseeing staff and volunteers, including training, mentoring, and evaluations Ensuring compliance with medication administration and documentation, incident reporting, Individual Service Plan development and implementation, and fiscal responsibility Medical Advocacy Managing the household budget, reconciling expenses, and assisting residents with personal funds Coordinating and communicating with guardians, agency leadership, and other partners to support residents Planning, designing, and participating in day program activities alongside other staff and residents

Required Qualifications:

Driver's License Willingness to relocate and live on-site Strong leadership and organizational skills Desire to work with individuals with disabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in shared living programs or related human services Supervisory or management background Medication administration training Social work or related field Experience in behavior de-escalation Benefits Salary of $40,000 per year, in addition to in-kind benefits valued at $30,000+ including housing (private apartment area within the shared house), utilities, a generous grocery budget, paid phone plan and streaming services, gym membership, health insurance reimbursement of $300/month, and 30 PTO days coordinated with the annual calendar to align with individual respite and family time. Total estimated compensation is approximately $70,000+. Schedule Full-time, residential position. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday with varying hours between 8am-8pm. Flexibility is needed to fill in from time to time on weekends or outside normal hours, depending on the needs of the household and staffing coverage.
