Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Tenant Coordinator to join our dynamic property management team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring a seamless leasing experience while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Your proactive approach will help foster positive relationships with residents, manage lease agreements efficiently, and support the overall operations of our property portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community environment while honing your skills in property management and client relations. Duties Manage the leasing process from application intake through lease signing, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards Serve as the main contact for tenant inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, rent payments, and tenant communications using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite Coordinate property inspections, maintenance requests, and facilities management to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment Assist in budgeting activities related to tenant services and property expenses, supporting financial planning efforts Enforce Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws to ensure compliance across all leasing activities Conduct conflict management and negotiation with tenants when necessary, fostering positive relationships and resolving disputes effectively Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using property management software like Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Fair Housing regulations Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and client communication abilities Ability to manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately while maintaining confidentiality Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and contract management within a property or facilities context Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently Office experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer relationship management and filing systems Knowledge of property maintenance procedures, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and facilities management practices is preferred Join us as a Tenant Coordinator to make a meaningful impact on our residents' lives by providing exceptional service while supporting the operational excellence of our properties.
