A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of connection and belonging at your property, ensuring that all residents enjoy a welcoming and comfortable living environment. Success in this role requires the ability to balance and prioritize the needs of property owners and residents across several sites, ensuring well‑managed, harmonious communities while maximizing the financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management:
Assist in the development of budgets and financial plans for the property. Monitor and manage expenses, making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
Resident Engagement and Relationship Building:
Foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication and engagement initiatives. Organize and execute resident events and activities to promote a sense of community. Address resident concerns and inquiries promptly, demonstrating a commitment to resident satisfaction.
Community Development:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall living experience for residents. Collaborate with the marketing team to attract and retain residents through innovative and appealing community offerings. Encourage a sense of belonging and camaraderie among residents.
Hospitality and Customer Service:
Maintain a resident-first mindset, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, providing support and guidance to residents. Regularly assess and improve service offerings to meet the evolving needs of residents.
Leasing and Occupancy Management:
Oversee the leasing process, from initial inquiries to lease signing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for residents. Monitor and manage occupancy rates, implementing strategies to optimize apartment occupancy.
Property Maintenance:
Collaborate with maintenance staff to address resident maintenance requests in a timely manner. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential property management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships. Demonstrated experience in creating a sense of community within a residential setting. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of fair housing regulations and property management best practices. Hospitality or customer service background is highly desirable. Strong understanding of property management operations and financial principles. Proficiency in using Yardi and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Willingness to embrace the mission and values of the company. The pay range for this role is: 80,000 - 95,000 USD per year(57 Main)
