Assistant Property Manager The Simon Companies, founded in 1966 and based south of Boston, Massachusetts, is a leader in the acquisition, development, and management of multifamily and commercial real estate throughout New England. Leveraging industry best practices through participation in organizations like IREM and NEAHMA, The Simon Companies remains forward-thinking and well-positioned for the future. We are searching for an energetic, outgoing, and ambitious Assistant Property Manager to join a great team at Townehouse Apartments and Skyline Terrace in Quincy. In addition to creating relationships with future and current residents, you will have the opportunity to use your creative talents and business sense to create and implement marketing programs, host resident events, and create the overall community experience. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of Townehouse and Skyline to include but not limited to: Office management and general administrative duties Marketing the property to its full potential in accordance with company selection criteria and Fair Housing Laws Conducting tours with prospects Communicating with prospective renters and current tenants in person, by phone or email. Strong follow-up of leads Processing rental applications and renewals; Assisting in hosting community activities for residents Excellent customer service skills with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience specifically in real estate sales or leasing is required. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Must have
IREM ARM
certification or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment. Must be organized with strong computer skills. An outgoing personality, along with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively is needed. Reliable transportation required. The ability to walk the property for tours and inspections as well as climb stairs is necessary. Great opportunity to work in a company with room to grow in responsibilities, advancement, and pay. Weekend availability may occasionally be required depending on vacancy at the sites. Hourly pay rate commensurate with experience and qualifications plus commission opportunity per rental.
