In business for more than 65 years, the firm's portfolio has encompassed over six million square feet of single & multi-family residential, office space, research & development, medical facilities, self-storage facilities, retail, and warehouse facilities. The firm is looking for a skilled and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join a team overseeing a residential property complex in Stoneham, MA consisting of 1-4 bedroom apartments and townhouses.
Responsibilities:
This Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for the below tasks, including but not limited to: Administrative support for Property Manager Address tenant issues and concerns in a thoughtful and timely manner. Process work orders and track status. Process rent payments and rent collection. Process accounts payable. Waitlist management. Maintain meticulous tenant files. Assist in ensuring compliance with state agencies such as Mass Housing.
Qualifications:
At least two years of full-time work experience in residential property management. A working knowledge of affordable housing compliance programs such as project-based Section 8 is preferred but not required. Strong organizational, analytic, verbal, and written skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment. Be able to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and obtain results for the residents and the community. Customer service skills are important in this role. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and work as a team member. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) housing software Boston Post/ MRI and QuickBooks.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
