Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 75 unit multifamily property in Worcester County, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of property management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff. This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure our property runs smoothly, stays fully leased, and provides residents with a positive living experience. Key Responsibilities Tenant & Leasing Management Market available units through listings, online platforms, and community outreach Conduct tours, process applications, and oversee tenant screening Manage lease agreements, renewals, and compliance with property policies Handle move-in and move-out inspections, security deposit processing, and documentation Financial Management Collect rent, enforce payment policies, and manage delinquencies Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense monitoring Recommend and implement rent adjustments based on market trends Property Operations & Maintenance Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections Manage vendor contracts and ensure quality work and cost-effectiveness Coordinate preventative maintenance to protect property assets Resident Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for resident questions, concerns, and complaints Promote a safe, welcoming, and community-focused environment Enforce property rules and regulations fairly and consistently Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with housing laws, local ordinances, and safety requirements Prepare monthly occupancy, financial, and maintenance reports for ownership Oversee and coordinate eviction processes when necessary May require occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs. Other duties as assigned to support property operations.
