If you genuinely enjoy creating order, transforming spaces, and helping people feel more comfortable in their homes, this may be a great fit for you. As an Assistant Organizer, you'll work alongside our team in clients' homes throughout the DMV area to create organized, functional, and easy-to-maintain spaces. Projects can range from closets and pantries to bedrooms, storage areas, garages, and other spaces throughout the home. This position requires driving to multiple job sites, so applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. What You'll Do Sort, categorize, declutter, and organize household items Create clean, functional organizing systems Assist with organizing products, containers, and labels Fold, arrange, and neatly style items and spaces Help prepare donations and unwanted items for removal Perform light cleaning directly related to organizing projects Follow project direction while staying productive and taking initiative Handle clients' belongings and homes with care, professionalism, and discretion Drive to and work at multiple job sites throughout the DMV area Work collaboratively with other Cozy Home Studios team members You May Be a Great Fit If You Are Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. You naturally notice when something could be more organized, enjoy seeing a space come together, and aren't afraid to jump in and get things done. You have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and are comfortable driving to multiple client job sites throughout the DMV area. This role involves standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, moving items, climbing stairs, and working in a variety of residential spaces. Some projects may include garages, basements, storage areas, or spaces with significant clutter. Professional organizing experience is a plus, but it isn't required. We care most about reliability, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and your willingness to learn the Cozy Home Studios approach. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
