Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Position Summary The Leasing Manager directs the property's leasing activities, marketing efforts, leasing team members, and other resources. This position is responsible for performing clerical and administrative functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the move-in process. The Leasing Manager is expected to achieve established revenue, occupancy, resident retention, and leasing goals. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all leasing and front desk staff. Monitor leasing activity, including advertising, phone calls, emails, walk-ins, PopCard leads, and applications. Manage the weekly outreach program. Approve applications that meet company selection criteria and process move-ins in Yardi. Coordinate marketing campaigns with the Property Manager and outside consultants. Manage the lease renewal process. Process notices to vacate (NTVs) and move-outs in Yardi, including completion of move-out transmittals for non-charged accounts within 15 days. Monitor advertising sources to ensure accurate and up-to-date information across all platforms. Train and mentor leasing staff as needed. Respond to resident concerns and ensure excellent customer service. Coordinate follow-up on service requests. Prepare reports as requested. Oversee marketing, office supply, and media expenses and invoicing. Manage site petty cash reimbursements. Monitor water sub-metering move-ins and move-outs. Audit lease files for accuracy and completeness. Process rent control disclosures, including notices, rent quotes, and move-ins. Coordinate resident retention initiatives, including events and newsletters. Monitor the resident referral program. Attend community marketing meetings and company training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant leasing or property management experience. Knowledge of the property management resident lifecycle. Experience with property management software. Knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and conflict resolution abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use standard office equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Yardi, Nexus, or similar property management software. Physical Requirements Frequent walking throughout the property. Ability to remain seated and/or standing for extended periods. Regular computer use. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds. Occasional outdoor work. Travel No travel required.
