Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential homes for adults with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a comfortable and efficient living environment. This role requires a blend of housekeeping management, personal assistance, and administrative duties, ensuring that all household activities run smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Report Individual's needs, equipment repairs etc. to the main office. Oversee New Direct Support Professional Hires. Willing to work with Healthcare Management System (ICare) Conduct the "Practical Training" for new staff as assigned by Human Resource Director. Monitor individuals' birthdays on calendar and coordinating birthday celebrations, making the item purchases and taking to the house, overseeing the set up and taking pictures to be emailed to main office. Make rounds and collect monthly vital signs from all houses on the 5th of each month; then input all vital signs in the system by the 6th of each month. Review all fire drill records for each house on the 6th of each month. Conduct weekly house inspections and submit monthly house inspection forms. Evaluate MAR's/ Outcome Sheets/ Activity Sheets during each visit to ensure they are being completed. Fill in shifts due to callouts that cannot be covered (emergency basis) Responsible for seasonal clothing search/change- over/reporting to administration for individuals' needs for clothing etc. purchases. Fill in as an appointment accompany when needed. Conduct any sweeps or inspections ordered by any Administrator. Responsible for delivering house/individuals item orders to houses and ensuring implementation Meet with any scheduled vendors for example Community Coordinators Services, Therapist etc. Delivers monthly MAR's to the homes and medications and completing the final cross check of meds against MAR at the home, then notating any discrepancy to the Delegated Nurse. Responsible for removing expired medications from home (example: PRN meds/discontinued meds/or treatments) Requesting PRN reorders from main office when needed. Maintain neatness of books in the homes. Responsible for filing PMOF's in homes every 90 days. Ensures that house items and individuals items are in good working condition. Responsible for ensuring that all PMOF's in the homes are up to date (NO EXPIRED PMOF's
IN BOOKS
) Then notifying the nurse if a PMOF is missing/unavailable. Responsible for ensuring that all Person-Centered Plans in MAR Book are current and match the corresponding outcome sheet.
