Summary/objective The Community Living Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of their assigned group home. They will ensure quality and service standards are met, train staff, and will use problem solving skills and a systematic approach to ensure an efficient, organized, and positive environment. They will ensure the highest quality of care is provided for the individuals supported. Essential functions Conducting appropriate activities designed to meet service objectives that are listed in the individual plan. Participate in the development and revision of the Person Centered Plan Assuring that all annual evaluations and screenings take place by the designated dates for all individuals in assigned group home. Assisting individuals in maintaining a wholesome living environment. Planning and coordinating appropriate leisure and social activities. Providing appropriate supervision and training to DSP's Encouraging individuals to maintain a positive and consistent relationship with family and friends. Managing individual's finances with the direction of the Program Coordinator Administration of individual's medications. Supervision and training to all DSP's working in assigned group homes. Completes and maintains necessary logbooks and forms. Completes assigned staff evaluations promptly. Attending and participating in annual and exit PCP's. Staff scheduling and assurance of adequate and equitable coverage during all times individuals are home. Oversee and monitor purchasing and storage of all food and household items within the house, adhering to budget guidelines. Manage dedicated 1:1 hours in MITC Supervision of Petty Cash. Attends and participates in required staff meetings. Maintains knowledge of Agency and Program Policies and Procedures and ensures they are followed. Satisfactorily completes required in service training. Reviews, approves, or denies all leave requests for house staff. Responsible for driving agency vehicles which includes transporting individuals in the community, appointments, etc. Other duties as assigned.
