Hours:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday, Saturdays Position Summary:
The Assistant Property Manager's primary responsibility is to assist the Property Manager in all areas of operation including office administration, financial, safety, employee management, marketing, leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the community to provide a thorough and exceptional experience for current and prospective residents.
- Utilize feature and benefit selling to determine needs and preferences for current and prospective residents resulting in secured lease agreements.
- Oversee and enhance financial growth of the property.
- Ensure that financial reporting and record keeping is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assist Property Manager with hiring, developing, and motivating team.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer focused approach with team members, residents, clients, and the public.
- Prepare and initiate effective marketing, outreach, and resident retention programs.
- Complete lease applications and verifications and maintain accurate lease documentation.
- Be knowledgeable and compliant of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1 year of on-site property management or training preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Fundamental computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and Rent Café preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Able and eager to embody MRD Apartments Core Values daily.
