Assistant Property Manager

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager with at least 3 years experience in Property Managment to join our multifamily property management team. In this vital role, you will support the overall operations of residential communities, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and efficient property management. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain high occupancy rates, uphold property standards, and foster positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members. Responsibilities Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination. Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and company standards. Utilize property management tools such as Yardi to track resident information, rent payments, and maintenance requests. Handle client communication with professionalism, addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Contribute to conflict management efforts by resolving resident concerns promptly and diplomatically while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. Support budgeting processes and financial reporting related to property expenses and income. Assist with legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 programs, and contracts. Maintain accurate filing systems for lease agreements, legal documents, and resident records. Engage in upselling opportunities by promoting additional services or amenities to residents to enhance satisfaction and retention. Foster teamwork through effective team management support and collaboration with vendors and service providers. Experience Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Property Management to be considered for this position. Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles within a multifamily setting. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, or equivalent tools is essential. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and contracts management. Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management. Office experience involving leasing processes, filing systems, phone etiquette, and general administrative duties. Experience in property leasing, sales techniques for upselling amenities or services, budgeting tasks, and facilities management is highly desirable. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
