We partner with K-12 schools and community organizations that serve children to provide clinical therapy, counseling, psychological services, and psychiatric evaluations, treatment & interventions.

Child Welfare:

We operate an onsite family success center that promotes child-wellbeing and offers children and youth from all walks of life to access relevant mental health crisis prevention and child abuse and neglect prevention services.

Job Summary The Manager of the Tau Beta Family Success Center (TBFSC) is responsible for the overall day-to-day management, operations, programming, and community engagement activities of the Family Success Center. The Manager will ensure that the TBFSC operates in accordance with the Children Trust Michigan Family Success Center Standards of Excellence and delivers high-quality services that strengthen children, youth, and families. This position will oversee family-centered enrichment programming, special events, youth and child engagement activities, community partnerships, and daily center operations. The Manager will ensure that all services align with the Five Protective Factors of primary prevention and support positive family outcomes through connections to the Social Determinants of Health. The Manager will work collaboratively with internal departments, community partners, schools, service providers, and residents to create a welcoming hub that supports children, youth, and families. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Recreation Management, Community Development, Human Services, Public Administration, Education, Youth Development, or a related field 3-5 years of experience managing community-based, family-serving, recreation, youth development, or nonprofit programs Experience planning and coordinating community events, family engagement activities, and enrichment programming Experience supervising staff, volunteers, interns, or program facilitators Experience with program management, data collection, and outcome tracking Experience operating after-school, youth development, family engagement, or community-based programs Strong understanding of community resources and organizations within the City of Detroit and Wayne County Ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based data systems Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and family-centered service delivery Flexibility to work evenings and occasional Saturdays Essential Functions Oversee the daily operations of the Tau Beta Family Success Center, ensuring a welcoming, safe, family-friendly environment Ensure compliance with Children Trust Michigan Family Success Center Standards of Excellence Maintain operational procedures that support efficient and effective service delivery Manage facility usage, programming schedules, community partnerships, and participant engagement Develop, coordinate, and manage a year-round calendar of family, child, and youth enrichment activities Plan and oversee special events, workshops, family engagement opportunities, community celebrations, and educational programming Ensure all programs and services align with the Five Protective Factors and support positive family outcomes Gather feedback from participants and community stakeholders to inform programming decisions Facilitate and support family leadership and advocacy opportunities, advisory councils, and community engagement initiatives Supervise assigned staff, contractors, interns, and volunteers Provide routine coaching, supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities Monitor staff performance and ensure achievement of program goals and service expectations Maintain staff schedules and support effective deployment of resources Promote awareness of Family Success Center services and resources throughout the community Establish and maintain trusted community partners who further the reach of Family Success Center's goals Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, contracts, reporting deadlines, and program expectations Collect, monitor, and report program data and outcomes Assist with grant implementation, work plan monitoring, and evaluation activities Provide program fiscal oversite and monitor expenditures Attend all required internal and external meetings Leadership Functions Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and family-centered workplace culture Lead a high-performing team that prioritizes excellent service delivery and community impact Support staff wellness, professional growth, and leadership development Foster innovation and continuous improvement in family, youth, and community programming Ensure accountability to organizational goals, grant requirements, and program outcomes Model collaborative leadership and effective communication Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout all areas of service delivery Core and Leadership Competencies Communication

KPIs Meet 100% of the Standard of Excellence each program year as defined by Children Trust Michigan Ensure that 100% of data for CTM is turned in on time each quarter Show that 90% of families are satisfied with TBFSC engagement Ensure that 100% of all work plans are followed and are aligned with the assigned grant. Ensure that Fee for Services staff are hitting their weekly hours 95% of the time. No more than one program complaint (colleague, stakeholder, community partner, etc.) hat requires corrective action per year. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout program spaces for extended periods as needed. Other May need to work evenings and occasional Saturdays.
