Production Manager - Residential Remodeling 230 W Lakewood Blvd, Holland, MI 49424 $40 an hour $40 an hour We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead residential remodeling projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on field leadership position where you'll play an active role on the jobsite while managing crews, coordinating trade partners, and ensuring every project is completed with exceptional quality, efficiency, and attention to detail. In this role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day field operations, blending strong leadership with hands-on carpentry expertise and effective jobsite management. You'll be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, maintaining high workmanship standards, and creating a positive, productive experience for both clients and team members.

Compensation:

$40+ hourly

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in hands-on carpentry work as needed to keep projects moving Lead residential remodeling projects through all phases of construction Manage and support the field crew in daily production Interact professionally with homeowners throughout the project Coordinate trade partners to maintain schedule and quality standards Develop and manage project schedules using JobTread Conduct regular jobsite visits for progress, quality, and safety Ensure safety standards and jobsite compliance are met Train and mentor carpenters and field staff Serve as the primary field leader for production execution

Qualifications:

5+ years of residential construction experience (remodeling preferred) Strong hands-on carpentry skills (finish and rough framing) Field leadership experience (foreman, lead carpenter, or similar role) Ability to both lead and work in the field daily Strong ability to manage schedules, people, and multiple projects Excellent communication with clients, crews, and trade partners Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lead with consistency, accountability, and respect Michigan Builder's License preferred or willingness to obtain About Company Nelson Builders is a family-owned company that has been in business since 2001.
