Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the training and supervision of the Residential Advocates and shelter floor staff
  • Resolve conflict between residents efficiently and appropriately
  • Resolve conflict between staff members efficiently and appropriately
  • Conduct monthly supervision meetings with all Residential Service staff
  • Support the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of DV/SA program staff
  • Compile monthly units of service and related contractual reports as directed
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the Director of Programs
  • Consult with counselor, case managers, advocates, and aides regarding appropriate services/referrals for Non-Residential and Residential Clients
  • Facilitate and/or attend meetings for the DV/SA program staff to assure consistent education, supervision, and in-service (staff development)
  • Conduct annual evaluation of staff, reviewing progress, developing goals
  • Audit files and database for grant compliance
  • Conduct weekly case management meetings with Residential Advocates
  • Report and document all maintenance issues on the Shelter Floor
  • Provide shift coverage for Shelter Floor as needed
  • Review Incident Reports and Client complaints
