May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with a focus on rent collection and lead generation and expertise in customer relationship management and administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage tenant relations, ensure compliance with legal regulations, and maintain the overall integrity of the properties. Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and property performance. Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications. Experience in rent collections and knowledge of local court processes for eviction. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests using property management software such as Entrata. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including LIHTC guidelines where applicable. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities by liaising with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues. Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Conduct regular property inspections to assess condition and identify areas for improvement. Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and conflict resolution. Skills Proficiency in property management software (Entrata) is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with tenants and address their needs effectively. Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and legal requirements related to property management. Experience in LIHTC compliance is a plus. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
