May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

In this role, you will oversee leasing activities, manage tenant relations, and support property operations to ensure a positive living experience for residents. This position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with strong administrative skills and a passion for customer service to contribute to a thriving community. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining compliance with housing regulations and property policies. Responsibilities Manage leasing processes including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease or rental agreements using property management tools such as Appfolio, Yardi and OneSite. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining positive client relationships through effective communication. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and other relevant legal requirements. Coordinate property maintenance requests, and oversee property upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Maintain accurate filing of lease documents, legal paperwork, and resident records while managing conflict resolution with professionalism and tact. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with property management companies is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of lease or rental agreement management, landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations. Proficiency in AppFolio,Yardi, OneSite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and other property management tools such as Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Excellent conflict management skills coupled with effective negotiation abilities to handle tenant concerns and lease negotiations confidently. Demonstrated ability to manage team tasks efficiently while providing outstanding customer service in an office environment Exceptional phone etiquette, organizational skills including filing and record keeping, and the ability to upsell amenities or services to residents.
