Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This energetic position combines leadership, customer service excellence, and administrative expertise to ensure smooth property functioning and exceptional resident experiences. You will manage leasing activities, coordinate maintenance, and support team members to uphold the highest standards of property management. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will drive community satisfaction and operational success. Duties Assist in managing leasing processes, including lease or rental agreement management, tenant screening, and move-in/move-out procedures using property management tools like Yardi and OneSite. Oversee property maintenance coordination, ensuring timely repairs and facilities management to maintain property standards. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette, email, and in-person interactions, fostering positive relationships with residents and prospects. Support budgeting activities, expense tracking, and financial reporting to optimize property profitability. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant law, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal administrative requirements through diligent record-keeping and filing practices. Manage conflict resolution among residents or staff promptly and effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to maintain a harmonious community environment. Assist in marketing efforts including upselling available units or amenities to prospective tenants, leveraging sales techniques to maximize occupancy rates. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and LIHTC compliance standards. Demonstrated ability in team management, customer service excellence, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Background in facilities management or property maintenance is preferred; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, contracts management, and legal documentation. Office experience combined with strong phone etiquette and client communication skills are essential for success in this role.
